			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>But I had a blast, I got drunk on some amazing juice! I will have to say I did not have mood swings, headaches, or low energy. Now I did get a little hungry at the end of each day, I attribute this to not drinking enough water in between each juice. The juices were amazing and so well blended and it felt so good to have my body flooded with amazing nutrients.</p>
<p>In addition to my juicing I sat in my infared sauna each day and was able to give myself a colonic on Sunday which helped with energy for sure.  I would say for anyone who hasn&#8217;t juiced to do it.  Your body will thank you and will be rewarded with a digestive tract that has been able to take a break and cells that got to purge junk since they were flooded with amazing juice goodness!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>So when you start eating real foods, it can be a new world really. First you figure out how to spell and say quinoa then you realize there is more than one kind. It is fun but can be overwhelming. What I tell clients to do is challenge themselves each week with picking up a new grain and a new green. Try cooking what you buy basic, see what they taste like, then experiment with a new recipe.</p>
<p>I chose this week to bring Amaranth to the kitchen. I went with a couscous type dish, but kept it gluten free.  I have never had Amaranth till now.   Here&#8217;s the wrap sheet on the healthy grain.<a href="http://moorelivingwithsarah.wordpress.com/2012/01/30/amaranth-in-the-kitchen/photo8/" rel="attachment wp-att-1572"><img class="alignright  wp-image-1572" title="photo(8)" src="http://moorelivingwithsarah.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/photo8.jpg?w=210&#038;h=158" alt="" width="210" height="158" /></a></p>
<ul>
<li>High in protein</li>
<li>High in Amino acid lysine</li>
<li>Very Magnesium  and Calcium content</li>
<li>Gluten free</li>
</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s the recipe</p>
<p>1 cup Amaranth (cooked)</p>
<p>1/4 cup of pure Olive Oil ( I used <a href="http://www.olivianashville.com">Basil Olivia Olive</a>)</p>
<p>1/2 cup fresh lemon juice</p>
<p>1/4 cup chopped scallions                     <a href="http://moorelivingwithsarah.wordpress.com/2012/01/30/amaranth-in-the-kitchen/photo7/" rel="attachment wp-att-1571"><img class="alignright  wp-image-1571" title="photo(7)" src="http://moorelivingwithsarah.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/photo7.jpg?w=210&#038;h=158" alt="" width="210" height="158" /></a></p>
<p>1/2 cup chopped parsley</p>
<p>2-3 cloves of garlic</p>
<p>1 tablespoon fresh mint</p>
<p>sea salt to taste</p>
<p>optional- olives , goat cheese.  I didn&#8217;t have any olives but they would have been a nice addition.</p>
<p>Make amaranth to direction, set aside and allow to cool down. In a separate bowl combine all other ingredients.  Once amaranth has cooled down combine ingredients. You can then place in the fridge and allow flavors to blend, it is really good after flavors have combined.  It can also be eaten at room temp, if you are not ready for a cold &#8220;salad&#8221;</p>

Its&#8217; no secret I like to juice here and there, I think it is good to give the digestive tract a nap and give your body some amazing nutrients. Now I can not say I am <a href="http://www.fatsickandnearlydead.com">Joe the Juicer</a>.  I would probably have to live in a house alone or in a hotel (which would be nice) because I have  work to do on the mind over matter thing, or letting my body know it is not hungry. It is a pretty known thing amongst the Iunghuhn clan (maiden name) that when we do not eat or skip meals we become a little on the cranky side. I have gotten so much better at that, but long term juicing brings out the best in my body but not always the best in my marriage and motherhood. So this time I decided to take some of the frustration out of it.I hired Juice Nashville to make the juice for me. The use the top of the line <a href="http://http://www.nwjcal.com/index.htm">Norwalk Juicer </a>and I purchased three of their 6 juice cleanse. Looks like I am partying all weekend. So I am offering you to just feel so good don&#8217;t ya wanna?</p>
<p>Recipe depends on how much you wanna make. Choose all organic when available</p>
<p>1 green apple</p>
<p>1/2-1 peeled lemon</p>
<p>couple handfuls of Kale or one bunch</p>
<p>3-4 stalks of celery</p>
<p>throw each into a juicer and ta da, you have a wonderful green lemonade, or lemonade thats green, or just one great morning or afternoon juice cocktail.</p>

Could you image I can&#8217;t .  When clients come in that do not go often, usually they will reference their spouse or a family member that eats and lives way worse than they do but goes all the time.  One would think the worse you eat the less you poo and usually that is the case, but sometimes the better you eat (for a period of time) the more constipated you become.  As you continue to eat whole and organic the body detoxes and starts shedding,so to speak, toxicity in the body and it will want to exit two ways.  This is through our skin and bowels. When it is to much and our colon becomes tired and sluggish we will not go as often as we should (3x a day) and will need to have aid from a colonic or enema. I recommend these even if you are going, because there is so much stored waste.</div>

<div class="mceTemp">Now onto the time you had a colonsocopy and you went to the bathroom more in your life than ever and you swear there can&#8217;t be anything else in there. Well, there is and any colon hydrotherapist can back me up on this.  Our bowels have endured years and years of yuckiness coming through them, remember your first happy meal? Or think back to the first antibiotic you took, this created a nice place for yeast/candida to set up camp and disrupt the good bacteria in your colon.  If we have not worked to restore our intestines, continued to eat good food, stop using chemicals on our skin and clothes, then our bodies are still processing all of these things going through our system and blood stream.  So although you got sick and made the porcelain god your second home, or you drank magnesium and took a vacation in your bathroom, I can bet you that you are not cleaned out and your digestive tract is more inflamed than before.  Get some alkaline veggies ASAP, add some aloe vera to your smoothies, or venture into the world of irish moss and of course get a colonic <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />  and get your gut health back in order.</div>

I chose to do this cleanse to mix things up a little and also get you all more rockin in the bedroom.  If you are in a relationship where you were once sexually active, why are you not now?I have asked clients and friends why, some say they just don&#8217;t have any juices flowing down there ( not their exact words, but..), they are to tired, their hormones are whacked, along with some others I won&#8217;t publish :0</p>
<p>I am not a marriage counselor and my cleanse will not go into anything with marriages. It is designed to present a whole foods, cleansing perspective to boosting your libido. I will offer body image boosting strategies along with introducing you to some amazing superfoods you probably haven&#8217;t heard of and for sure haven&#8217;t tried to get your juices flowing.  I truly believe if you are balanced, still attracted to your significant other and have at least 5 minutes you can have that spark start sparkling. I also do not believe has to be done with a bunch of pills and supplements I want this to be long lasting not just for the 30 days of supplements.</p>
<p>As a teaser I will leave you this tip. Coconut oil, you all know how much I love it.  Leave it in three places in your home; your kitchen,your bathroom and your bedroom. Throw away those silly lubricants that may help for the moment but create total ciaos for your lady parts later, and use coconut oil!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I want to introduce you to a cool chic, or you can think of ANDI as a dude.  ANDI stands for <em>Aggregate Nutrient Density Index</em>. If you have <a href="http://moorelivingwithsarah.wordpress.com/2012/01/23/do-you-know-andi/andiscores/" rel="attachment wp-att-1489"><img class="alignright  wp-image-1489" title="andiscores" src="http://moorelivingwithsarah.files.wordpress.com/2012/01/andiscores.jpg?w=350&#038;h=265" alt="" width="350" height="265" /></a>ventured into <a href="http://www.wholefoods.com">Whole Foods</a> and found yourself overwhelmed, have no fear they have really worked to make it easy for us. With the ANDI score they have let us know on a scale of 1 to 1,000 what foods are most nutrient dense. In my book that means lets load up on a lot of the highest score and then balance out with the rest ( and if you get confused most WF have a healthy living specialist on hand to help you, ours is named Dori) .They have taken out the guess work and calculated the foods based on their extensive range of micro-nutrients, like vitamins, minerals,phytochemicals, and antioxidants.</p>
<p>Now just because an item like Blueberries in only 130 does not mean it is bad, it simply means when going for the most nutrient dense foods, the top three which weighed in at 1,000 ( Kale, Mustard/Turnip/Collard greens and watercress) would be what I would put in my cart first.  ANDI isn&#8217;t really polling your local McDonalds so have no fear, all that are scored have met pretty much a whole food standard (cheese, and nut milks are scored).  Another way to think about the score the most Alkaline foods are the highest, and we want to work on adding more alkaline in our diet to reduce inflammation and begin internal healing.</p>
