Top 5 Things to keep your health this winter

In random order 🙂

1. Take a Probiotic:   Taking a probiotic should be done whatever the season. Most people have gut issues, digestive problems and are not living with healthy flora in their intestines.  What is a probiotic.  Probiotics are good strands of bacteria. I know you say I eat yogurt! No get off the dairy. Get it from an awesome supplement, keifer, fermented foods, or a drink like Kombucha. Look for more than 4-5 strands of bacteria, and it should be in the billions or trillions CFU’s.  It can be taken by the whole family.  When we have a healthy intestinal tract then our immune system can work other places in the body.

2. Vitamin C. – Vitamin C is such an amazing vitamin. It can help repair the adrenals, boost our immune system and fight off colds.   IF you are supplementing take 1000 mg or more a day. Not Vitamin C is passed through the body and urine so I would to take more than you would normally take since it will pass through your urine. Of course we get vitamin C through many foods, I would not depend on it from orange juice unless you are juicing organic oranges yourself, and drinking a lot.

3. Cleanse:  Get the bad junk out!  Seriously, your body can be and is a trash can of nasty stuff it is holding onto. If you have ever gotten a colonic you know, when that much crap comes out you feel amazing and the whole time are thinking, ” I didn’t realize I had that much poo in me” Yep, you sure did. So if colonics are not your thing, cleanse with an enema. Get the junk out like sugar, and white flour. Spend a week eating only fruits and veggies or longer of course.

4.  Coconut Oil: Food of the Gods. Coconuts should be an essential in your diet in some natural raw form.  You should bath in coconut oil. Ok maybe you wont but, you could. Good fat is what our body craves. In a world of low fat no fat, I believe many are deficient in the awesome brain food of good fat.  Eating coconut oil will have you loose weight, reduce inflammation in the body, lubricate joints, help your lady parts ( and man parts to) and just help you think better.  Start out with 3-4 tablespoons a day. It should be virgin unrefined.  Another fun tip for those couples in a committed, sexually active relationship (or not committed, I won’t judge)  🙂 it is an amazing lubricant. It is anti fungal and anti bacterial… very good for lady parts 🙂

5. RELAX, Feel and Give LOVE:  Take a break, step back and allow yourself to breathe. Everyday take 5 minutes or more to sit and just listen to yourself breathe.  Hear the breath in and out.  It will do you wanders!   Feel and give love, that means to yourself and to others. Don’t we all want to be filled with love?  Love makes the world go round. Remember to give love to yourself and others and your health will explode.

Take these tips and I could have given more, and make em happen today… start with the easiest for you then move to the next! Remember to allow yourself to feel good, and do the things that will get you there!.

Wow coconut oil is amazing! I have a lot of coconut oil in my apartment because I make my own soaps. However, I don’t think it is unrefined.
