Pleasurable Hot Chocolate (thirsty thursday)

Almost everyone loves a good cup of hot chocolate. I remember drinking it at high school football games and thinking it was just perfect creamy goodness.   In order to stay with the theme of eating real food and not a pre made packaged junk, I am sharing with you my hot chocolate. Get ready to be blown away!

2 cups of Almond mik ( or coconut, rice, hemp)

2 tablespoons of raw cocao powder ( Antioxidants, minerals, amazingness)

1 tablespoon of coconut oil ( amazing fat, body love)

1 teaspoon of Maca powder ( adrenal booster, hormone stabilizer, libido booster)

2-3 drops of stevia

handful of goji berries and cocao nibs

Add almond milk cocao powder, and maca to a pan on medium heat. Continue to stir as it will take a little bit of time to dissolve the cocao.  Once it is mixed and the milk is getting warm add in the coconut oil.  Continue to stir until creamy.  Add to your favorite mug and put the goji berries and nibs on top ( along with optional stevia)

**warning if you are not used to dark REAL chocolate you will not enjoy! This is amazing healthy yumminess

    Maca is an adrenal booster?!? Good reason for me to add to my next vitacost order! My adrenals are shot. I’m taking something to try to build them up, but they need all the help they can get. Thank you for that tidbit!!! 🙂

    And this hot chocolate does look amazing! I look forward to trying it!

      Yes! I thought why not. Chocolate coconut is so good and I needed more fat :).
